Class Description: This class will focus on giving you the skills to bring your sculpture ideas to life. Abstract and figurative work will be explored. This 4 week class will guide you into creating a finished piece through techniques in clay sculpting, working with solid masses of clay and finish textures using found objects, handmade stamps, and organic materials. All skill levels are welcome. Please note that anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (adult does not need to register unless they also wish to take part in the class.)
Notes: All classes take place at the Arbutus Folk School 610 4th Ave. E., Olympia, WA 98501. Classes will be canceled if minimum number of students are not registered.
