For May, I will teach how to paint the beautiful rhododendrons that grow in the state of Washington. On the 4th, we will paint the blossoms and leaves. I use a simple six step process for creating believable three-dimensional flowers. On the 18th, the lesson will be how to paint a variety of backgrounds for florals, portraits, still life, and more. We will discuss how to choose the proper back-
ground for your subject with many ideas on how to paint them. If you bring the floral painting from May 4, then we can help you find the perfect background to finish it. But each session can easily stand alone. -Ann Breckon
