Class Description:  A woodworking project isn’t finished until it’s finished, a simple truth but one that many woodworkers ignore.  Whether through fear or haste, the finish is often an afterthought.  But the application of a carefully chosen and skillfully applied finish is what can mean the difference between a piece that is merely pleasant and one that is elegant and beautiful.

This class is designed to remove some of the apparent mystery surrounding the application of wood finishes. Students will be introduced to a variety of both clear and colored finishes along with the tools and techniques for their proper application. The skills you learn are ones that have served artisan woodworkers for generations and they will truly take your work to another level of refinement.
