Materials provided by student: Students should bring sharp, small pointed scissors (like manicure scissors) and needle nose pliers, optional: magnifying eye glasses.  Bring $35 for material fee to first day of class


Class Description: In this introductory class students will weave a coiled pine needle basket around a polished stone cabochon. Using a unique spiral stitch, creating a basket attractive both inside and outside, students will learn how to shape their basket, add beads and wrapped coils, then taper and finish the final coil. The instructor provides all materials. Students should bring sharp, pointed scissors and needle nosed pliers.
